Day 1: Friday 16, July 2010

Upon your arrival to the International airport in Lima, we will greet and transfer you to the hotel, where you will spend the first night in Peru.

Day 2: Saturday 17, July 2010

Buffet breakfast.

Transfer to the airport in Lima, to catch your flight to the city of Cusco.
Upon arrival in Cusco, you will be met and transferred to your hotel, where you should rest for two or three hours in order to get adjusted to the altitude. Vegetarian Lunch at the Hotel in Cusco.

H/D CITY TOUR + RUINS

After lunch, the tour will show you the amazing colonial city built on the foundations of the Inca palaces. You will visit the Koricancha or Temple of the Sun, where you will appreciate the incredible masonry of the Incas, the Plaza de Armas and the Cathedral with its carved woodworks, altars and paintings.

Then you will be driven to the Inca fortress of Sacsayhuaman, to the underground cave and temple of Kenko and to Tambomachay, known as the Baths of the Inca.

Return to the Hotel to enjoy a delicious vegetarian dinner.

Day 3: Sunday 18, July 2010

Buffet breakfast.
F/D OLLANTAYTAMBO + PISAC MARKET
Early in the morning you will be transferred to Ollantaytambo, an Inca vestige that was a military, religious and agricultural center. Here, the fortress located in the highest part of the mountain, protected the valley from the invaders. The view of the town from the top is overwhelming, narrow streets and water channels are still used by the locals. After a delicious vegetarian lunch, we continue to Pisac,

a beautiful town famous for its typical handicraft market, full of color and tradition.

Day 4: Monday 19, July 2010

Vegetarian breakfast.
Day at leisure at the Willka Tika ( Sacred Valley of the Incas).
Vegetarian Cooking lessons, Yoga and Lectures can be programmed.

Vegetarian Lunch and Dinner.

Day 6: Wednesday 21, July 2010

Vegetarian breakfast.
Transfer to the train station.
F/D MACHU PICCHU
You will arrive to the Aguas Calientes Station in Machu-Picch u where
you will be transported by bus to the top of the mountain and citadel of Machu-Picchu, one of the most renowned examples of Inca architecture, surrounded by lush cloud forest. Lost in history, it was not discovered until 1911 by the American explorer Hiram Bingham. After a guided visit of the ruins, you will have a buffet lunch at a local restaurant.

Day 7: Thursday 22, July 2010

Buffet breakfast.
MACHU PICCHU NEXT DAY
Morning at leisure to enjoy a second free visit of the ruins ( no Guide available this second visit).

After lunch, you will take your train back to the Sacred Valley and finally get transferred to Cusco. Vegetarian dinner at the Hotel.

Day 8: Friday 22, July 2010

Buffet breakfast.
Morning at leisure in Cusco. Shopping available at the Handicraft Market across the street from the Hotel. Inka Spa (including ancient Inca Elements) at the Eco Inn Hotel at special rates for our passengers ( Spa not included in the program)

Vegetarian Lunch.

In the evening you will be taken to the local Theater to enjoy a spectacular Andean Play (Kusikay: http://www.kusikay.com) and a delicious vegetarian dinner.

Day 9: Saturday 24, July 2010

Buffet breakfast.
Early transfer to the airport in Cusco in order to catch your flight to Lima.
Meet and transfer to your hotel in Lima (day use).

H/D CITY TOUR
After a vegetarian lunch, You will visit the Plaza Mayor, where you will appreciate the Government Palace, the Cathedral, the Archbishop's Palace and the City Hall. Then, you will visit the XVII century church and cloister of San Francisco, a world cultural heritage. The tour continues to the modern residential suburb of San Isidro where a visit to the pre-inca pyramid of Huaca Huallamarca is included before continuing to downtown Miraflores, with it's Park of Love to enjoy a splendid view of the Pacific Ocean.

Farewell vegetarian dinner at a local restaurant, and transfer to the airport for your international flight back home.
